Croeso i Ysgol Aberriw - Welcome to Berriew School
Berriew is a friendly, village school of 94 pupils, situated between Welshpool and Newtown.
Our recent past includes:

a very successful Estyn inspection where a 'caring, supportive ethos' was identified, along with 'pupils' joy in discovering and reflecting upon their place in the world' being a notable feature.

continuing to provide good quality education, where each child matters.

achieving Green Flag status for sustainable practices.

gaining Healthy Schools Phase 2 Accreditation.

achieving the Basic Skills Quality Mark - again.

establishing an active PTA, who have enabled our ICT facilities to be extended.
